You matter

I have had the honor and privilege of mentoring a large number of amazing humans around the world.  Many have been young women from the so-called "Developing World" as well as people of color in the USA.  It is a joy to work with them as they navigate very complex circumstances to create new worlds for themselves, their peers, and the world.  Many of them have gone to prestigious positions in academia, while others have gone into industry, and civil service,  Each of them is making the world a better place.
